The Beatrice b F/W 2017/2018 collection introduces “Linear way" that expresses the latest trends while always maintaining a strong identity. "Linear way" conveys the desire to always follow one's own individual path while continuing to express distinct personal taste, as well as the idea of transposing within every corner of the collection to create a common thread, "the line" which not only connects but also differs.
Vertical line prints create elegant gritty garments that are mixed for a mood where burgundy and blue give rise to a tile-flower print and garments with two-tone pleated inserts that create refined asymmetrical shapes. Large flannel pinstripes, both minimalist and simple, are given new linear effects, either vertical or horizontal, resulting in garments that are dynamic yet understated. This year, Beatrice b also expresses trend-alerts, proposing geometric prints combined with a camel colour and animal print furs, for an unmatched style with innovative appeal. The rigorous line now becomes softer, more grainy and uneven to create brushstroke floral prints that are combined, in green and powder pink, with ironic polka dots and micro jacquards. Pink faux fur short coats and layered pleats capture this romantic mood, where masculine cuts alternate with frivolous coloured fur and embroidered micro-sequin collars.
Checkered prints, masculine tweeds and damier floral prints introduce a mood where the line is hidden in details. Contours are highlighted with contrasting piping to give various looks a real visual outline. Black and burgundy blend together to create elegant garments, where active-wear lines are emphasised in a refined and minimalist context. The black and burgundy line runs along the entire side of the track-pant, inserted in the lining of jackets and in the asymmetric detail of the pencil skirt. Finally, a black mesh dress with macro sequins and a lace top with pleated flounces add the finishing touch to this refined corner designed with meticulous details.
The Beatrice b collection is complemented with an extensive set of interesting accessories. Croco eco-leather is used to create a corner of hard bags: shoppers, saddle bags and flap bags are restyled with round lines for a lighter and more contemporary look. Elegant and refined saffiano leather bags are embellished with old gold and nickel-coloured micro studs. The soft laminated silver faux leather shopper and three-tone glittery mini bags add a glamorous and gritty mood to the overall look.
Shoes are a combination of leather and velvet, for a refined contrast. Velvet ankle boots have been restyled to include studs along the heel, and an elegant Mary Jane model has been added. Finally, sneakers with a leather bow offer an everyday alternative for a young restyled look.
